Smell ya later, Prop 8
In news you all have most likely already heard, a Federal judge in California ruled yesterday that Proposition Hate, ahem 8, has been overruled, stating that it violates the US Constitution. Celebrations nationwide hit the streets last night in what is considered a huge victory for the gay rights movement. This is obviously a big step in the right direction and we applaud Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker for this ruling, which brings us just a little closer to equality. There will no doubt be a long fight between both sides to come, but in the meantime, let’s pop the champagne, people!
