Real Housewives of DC…well that was fun while it lasted
The latest Real Housewives installment drags us into the prestigiously fabulous world of DC politics, and the housewives are more biting and pretentious then ever before (well except for possibly the gals of New York). It wasn’t long until the social niceties were dropped and political debate sparked catty goodness that Housewives fans have grown to love. Unfortunately it looks like the fun may be over almost before it has begun as this week it was rumored that two of the most outrageous and hotly controversial women will most likely not be rejoining the shows second season. The feisty Brit Cat Ommanney has publicly made claim that she will probably not continue filming after her recent marital battles with her husband Charles. Charles, who is a political photographer for the Bush and Obama administrations, has reportedly filed for divorce, blaming some of their martial woes on the show itself. Cat, who dressed like Sarah Palin to a republican fundraiser and has made snide comments throughout the season which have been way over blown by her fellow costars, has stated that she had no idea she would be perceived in such a negative light by the public and may not want to continue on for a second season.
Also rumored to be on the outs with Bravo TV itself is nail tech, turned Obama gate crasher, turned lunatic Michaele Salahi, whose husband has been sort of a Simon VanKampen of the series often crashing in on the women’s face time. Reports have surfaced that Bravo has had it with all of the crazy antics of the nightmare couple and will most likely not have them back for another season.
I guess we will all have to watch what happens. Until then, those Real Housewife divas of Atlanta are back tonight!
