First Impression

Perhaps I’m getting a bit cynical about gay porn, or I’m just wishing someone would think of something I’ve never seen before. When you log onto HardFriction.com, it kind of looks like 20 or so other sites I’ve checked out, but not quite as hot, or, to use sex terminology, “versatile.” The homepage shows several beefy guys, all but one with dark hair, and a couple of tattoos. Before you start your sex search, you know what you’re getting. Despite breaking the site down to various sections, they all kind of look the same—as do the men.

The site is fairly straightforward, without a bunch of annoying ads to get in your way. The newest clips are presented upfront, and you can hit the links to XXX Hardcore, Hard Men, Erotica, and Screen Tests, all of which are where the main action is. XXX Hardcore is basic man-on-man porn; big cocks, hot fucks. Hard Men is a Photo Gallery of the guys, along with links to their videos. Erotica claims to be more “artsy” than the Hardcore section, but for the most part that seems to mean a few extra positions before cock enters ass. Screen Tests, which have become ubiquitous on gay sites, are the tests of newcomers, usually going solo.

Content

The individual photos of each guy aren’t particularly hot, or jerk-worthy. They look like they were snapped in between video clips, and there aren’t nearly enough of them. When you view a clip, there’s an option to check out the photo gallery of the shoot, but the navigation is extremely confusing—you’ll probably end up watching the clip or going back to the homepage before you figure out how to get your wallpaper.

However, the videos are well shot and in high definition. The camera work is very good, and, while the sets are all dark, the lighting shows off every trickle of pre-cum. They’re all around 30 minutes, with the appropriate grunts and groans. You can stream or download all the clips, and the site gives you several streaming options. The downloads are Windows compatible and quite easy to operate. The site updates once a week, and the videos are exclusive to the site. Anyone who checks out this site should know that porn pros Bruno Bond and Steve Cruz are the producers, and, not only are they featured throughout, the other guys tend to fit the same pattern.

Guys and Sex

Since Cruz and Bond are the main hunks here, the men follow their lead and tend to be hard fuckers and no-nonsense about the sex. Overall Impression

HardFriction.com is a somewhat limited site that I would only recommend for fans of Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond. The clips are all fairly similar, and there aren’t a lot of bonus features to get you revved up. On a brighter note, the clips are all in high definition and easy to download.

Bottom Line

HardFriction.com looks like its title, with some hot, masculine types hard-fucking each other. It’s a no-nonsense gay porn site, where men are men, and twinks are not. Other than that, it’s fairly basic, without much variety.
