First Impression

It was hard to get a first impression for Phoenixxx, as there isn’t a lot of information thrown at you. Yes, it’s a network of a couple of different sites, but they look pretty much the same. There are no tags that say something like “world’s biggest Australian dicks” or “largest collection of Daddies on earth.” Looking around a bit, two things stood out: the guys are pretty young (I think 25 would be over-the-hill here), and there’s an odd match of muscular guys with very smooth guys. There’s also a lot of fake hair color, which confused me. The first thing you see are the coming attractions, and then the latest updates. At the top are links to models, different sites, live cams; you know the drill.

The site is fairly well organized if a bit confusing. If you hover over the clips you get a mini-slideshow, yet it flashes in an almost annoying fashion. Also, it’s hard to know which site you’re on. The photos are professional in quality, the images are good, and they are large screen shots. You can view all of them in a slideshow format and they have an extensive bunch. The videos are decent; there’s nothing particularly thrilling about the direction or the sets—the short set-ups don’t really work and would be best left out of the long-ish clips. The camera work and sound quality is strong. You can stream in different speeds (a great feature), and downloading options include Windows and MP4. I had no problems with buffering. Then again, as a fairly new network, it could be that bigger things are coming soon. It’s always good to know that downloading and streaming work, and that they have several options to make it more convenient.

Overall Impression

Phoenixxx.com seems to be a network site in-the-making. There’s not a ton of content, and time will probably tell how well the site turns out.
