- First Impression
It’s called RawRods.com, and the homepage tagline says "Black Bareback Fucking." There’s not a whole lot else you need to know. RawRods.com is a very basic site of amateur men, amateur photographs, and amateur clips. It doesn’t give the impression that it’s anything else when you log on to the site, or pretend that you’re going to get a bunch of bonus sites that are exactly the same, or that you’ll never use. The images fill up the page, and they don’t shove a bunch of ads in your face. You see the most recent clips, and you can also check them out by their rating. If you go to the models, they have selections like "Hottest Tops" and "Hottest Bottoms," etc. Each man has a bio that tells you his sexual orientation—surprise…they’re not all straight. - Navigation
Since RawRods.com is so limited in what it offers, it’s also very easy to find what you’re looking for. Despite the fact that it’s all bareback, the guys are all over the map; dark skin, light skin, muscle jocks, twinks, you name it. They have solo shots too. (Warning: If you hit the "DVD" link, which is an online store, you can’t navigate back to the homepage. When I logged back on, I even had to give them my password again.) Other than that, all the search mechanisms here work and are easy to find and understand. -

There’s a good selection of photos for each clip, and the resolution is good. The photography itself isn’t, but there are a few good close-ups and hard-on shots. You can download all the pictures in a zip file. The videos are very amateurish (probably on purpose), with the actors looking as unprofessional as the directors. There’s no real theme in the clips, even though some of them are set up with dialogue. The sets are bare, and the camera moves around a lot. Your younger brother could make films this good. You can download or stream with several options: Windows, Quicktime, iPod, MP4, Android. There are different speeds and different sections of the videos as well, with the best being high definition. The options are great and there were no glitches when I tried it. The videos are about 20 minutes long and they are updated frequently. The clips are also exclusive to the site. -

Like I said earlier, the guys are all over the place. Some of the men are muscle babes, others look like the only part of the gym they’ve ever seen is the steam room. All the guys are fairly young, some looking like they’re in their teens. The performance of the men varies, too. Some don’t really seem into it, even when they’re getting fucked up the ass, while others tend to love the camera and have a good feel for on-camera fucking. There’s nothing particularly unique about what the guys are doing, other than not using condoms. There’s no bondage or fetish or anything particularly out of the ordinary. My guess is that if you’re into black men and bareback, you’re going to be quite happy on this site. The only bonus is a calendar of the guys, so don’t check this place out for Latin Twinks or White Muscle God links. There are no live cam shows, no blogs, no interviews, not really much else to speak of. Most of the black men have big dicks, and a lot of them are pretty hot. There’s nothing particularly clever or original about the site, so don’t bother if you want a lot of variety. On the plus side, the downloading options are great and they have lots of wallpaper. One thing for sure: RawRods.com has found a niche and is sticking with it. -

Bareback sites will always have an audience, and this one’s got a large selection of videos. If you like amateur and don’t care about good lighting or "talented" adult film stars, you’re not going to mind the unskilled feel. There aren’t a lot of good black sites on the market; this one seems a little better than average. -
