First Impression

This site threw me for a loop. WorkinMenXXX.com isn’t just a site of amateur videos and guys; it prides itself on that feature. From the creators of “Southern Cumfort” magazine, some of the clips go back decades—the quality is poor, the sound terrible, the guys looking like they came up from the gutter for air. And that’s the whole point. What impressed me about the site is how detailed it is. Right off the bat you’re told you’re going to see rednecks and roughnecks, and they’re not lying. More compelling and true to the idea is how carefully put together the shots are. For example, if the photos are bad, you’re told ahead of time. Whether you want Glory Hole clips, Face Cum Shot clips, or Buddy clips, it’s laid out in front of you with perfect navigation. Instead of trying to be fancy, the site tries to be thorough. Happily, It succeeds.

Navigation

The site is one of the most well-organized porn sites I’ve seen. No distracting ads, no flashing lights, no immediate links to things you didn’t ask for. Each clip has a date attached, so you know when it was added, and photos so you know what you’re seeing. They also tell you the length of videos. There aren’t any long narratives telling you what you’re about to see (a huge plus), but you do get a bit of background on the men. Once you pick a category you like, you can go straight to the link that pulls up all of the archives. Just for fun, you have to hit the “Oldies But Goodies Series” which contain the retro clips. The photos are incredibly unprofessional looking; like it or not that’s the idea. All you see are thumbnail shots of the videos; you can’t even enlarge them. These are not slideshow images or wallpaper (unless you’re still living in 1983, and want to place them next to your Village People posters). The videos vary a bit, but none of them are great. They are all blurry, with bad sound and little or no direction. You can stream or download with WMV, and there were no glitches. The site updates a couple of times a week (some of those clips are the old ones), and can be under 10 minutes or closer to 20. The material is not exclusive to this site, as it’s part of CJXXX.com, a huge network of gay porn sites (which you get access to as a member).

Guys and Sex

If you’re into this kind of stuff, you’re going to love the site. You have to know what to expect, and you should take a tour and scour those photos first. No twinks and no jocks; everyone looks like they were paid 20 bucks for the shoot, and they’re not planning on going pro. Some of the guys appear to be over 40, some look like they haven’t bathed in about a week, some look like they have no desire to wash the cum off their face. And some are kind of normal-looking and handsome. If there are scenes where the men are awkward together (or drunk) you’re warned in advance. Value

If it’s your thing, it’s worth it. In addition to the stuff here, you get access to all the other CJXXX.com sites, live cam shows, and gay video games—love those. What you don’t get are blogs or forums or interviews with the “stars.” If you’re used to Falcon or other high quality studios, you’ll hate this site. My gut instinct tells me that the people who like this site become addicts; it’s love or hate all the way.

Overall Impression

I’d never purchase this site as a present to someone unless I knew their specific tastes—if they just told me they loved gay porn, I’d get something more conventional. While you might find the whole thing a bit eepy-cray, you might also think it’s kind of cool. There’s no pretense to any of it, no attitude, and no makeup. And hey, if these guys can be porn stars, surely you can too!

WorkinMenXXX.com is a very amateurish site of redneck and roughneck types in average quality videos. This is a well-crafted site, and it is extremely well organized and accessible.
