First Impression

There's megasites and then there's megasites, and Bad Puppy has earned its reputation for providing members access to what is probably the largest collection of gay adult content on the web.  The tour to BadPuppy.com only reaffirms this reputation – with access to more than 1,900 exclusive models (three new models added every week) and DRM-free full-length videos, it's no wonder this site's won the 2009 Cybersocket award for Surfer's Choice Best Mega Site. Because damn, that's a lot of porn.

It's been a while since I've popped over to Bad Puppy (Why? What is wrong with me?) and I'm pleased to find that the overall layout and design has improved since my last visit.  There's still a definite amateur feel, but it looks a little more polished than I remember. That being said, it's still definitely got that megastore feel to it, and it can be pretty overwhelming until you get the feel of it.  But while it's not the king of graphic design, that's not really what they're selling here. I mean, you don't go outlet shopping for the window displays, right? You go for the bargain, and so I think their basic and amateurish interface works well enough.

Navigation has been simplified, and you can navigate your way through the site with a top menu bar, search using keywords, or browse the latest updates directly underneath the menu. If you want to search by niche, you can do that as well. Bad Puppy also offers featured sites, if you're open to suggestion.

Content

As stated, Bad Puppy offers more than 1,900 models. These guys appear to be exclusive and so you won't find them on 30 other sites across the gay porn world. Model sets are added three times a week, but updates to the site are daily, giving you hours and hours (and hours) of content to enjoy.  

Bad Puppy is a little different than your regular porn network, because it provides its own content as well as plenty from other places.  Their exclusive content  is available in Windows Media, Quicktime or portable device downloads. Photos aren't terribly large or high quality, but there are thousands of them, which you can download as a convenient zip file.  Videos are better quality, though not high definition, and I will say that it varies a little between videos. The best viewing option is MPEG at 720x480 and 3 mbps.  Their videos are both model sets and studio movies, and full-length downloads are available.

Guys and Sex

Because the content is so varied across the megasite, it's difficult to say exactly what type of guy you'll be getting.  The Bad Puppy exclusive models are very cute – young, but not overly twinky, mostly smooth with some furry guys here and there.  These are definitely amateurs, and you're not going to find any big names or favorites here – just hot guys jerking off, sucking and fucking.  Scenes are mostly bedrooms and locker rooms, with some outside shoots here and there, and it should be said that a majority of the sex is condomless. In addition to all its exclusive content, you get so much more for your $19.95.  In total, I'd say that members get access to more than 60 gay pornsites, from actual bonus sites to third party bonuses to their own individual network sites. Here you'll get just about every hardcore niche you could want, with heavy emphasis on amateur content and quite a bit of bareback as well.  It should be said that many of these sites are no longer active, and some are quite outdated, but I'd still count it as a bonus since there's plenty of new stuff as well.  And, if you're a live cam fan, you'll definitely be pleased with what you find once you start looking.

In addition to the sheer quantity of porn, BadPuppy.com has worked pretty hard to create a nice gay community for its members to enjoy. The comments are extremely active, so you won't feel uncomfortable diving right in and sharing your favorites with new friends. There are surveys to take, erotic stories and a newsgroup to read and, if you still feel like chatting, a members forum.  Between the community features and the quantity of porn, I can imagine members spending a serious amount of time logged in.

Bottom Line

With content dating back to 1995 and new content still being added daily, Bad Puppy provides its members with a cornucopia of gay porn. If hot amateurs fucking gets you going, there's probably not a better deal for you out there.   It's just about everything you'd want in a network, plus plenty of extras to keep you cumming and entertained.
