- First Impression
My first thought about this was, "Who’s Jack?" and then my second was, "Oh, jacking off!" and then my third was, "Oh, who’s Jack?" YouLoveJack.com is homemade gay porn, without those creepy directors asking creepy questions. Actually, I’m a little thrilled about this since I usually sit through that part feeling uncomfortable and wondering how many seconds or minutes I need to fast forward to get past it. I know I’m not the only person who feels this way. Anyway, the opening splash page gives you a lot of information about the site, but the one thing that I couldn’t find was a preview video. - Navigation
There’s some sort of organization happening within YouLoveJack.com, I’m just not entirely sure what that organization is. There are links along the right side to use and action happening in the middle of the page as well. Then there are more links to videos at the bottom of the page. Call me traditional if you want (it’d be a fair assessment), but I like my links on the left and/or top of the page. That’s where we’re conventionally used to looking and when you change up that sort of organization everything just looks weird. It’d be like your heart on the right side of your body and not the left. It’ll perform the same function but it’s just weird. Okay, that’s a bad example but the point is, I’m having a really hard time navigating this site, and I want to be hard when I’m getting ready to rub one out, not get frustrated. There’s also no search mechanism on YouLoveJack.com, which means that so far, I may love Jack (whoever Jack happens to be), but I’m not loving YouLoveJack.com's user interface. -

The photos are actually screencaps from the videos you can watch, but they’re surprisingly good despite that. Usually this means you’re getting blurry shots with awkward lighting, and a majority of the photos I saw did not fall into this trap. Of course some did but it looked like whoever was screen capping the videos was either really good at it or just a good editor. Either way, I salute you! There’s no zip file to download and you also can’t view in a slideshow, so you have to save each picture that you want individually. I’d rather have some really good photos with no zip file capabilities than the ability to download a bunch of okay photos with a zip file, but to each his own. The lighting for the videos is good and everything is crystal clear. The camera work is also very steady, and I’m going to talk about that more in a little bit. One that thing that was disconcerting about these videos is that there really was no sound to them. I’ll go into it in greater detail but there was really very little reason (if any) for these videos to be entirely lacking in sound as they were. Sometimes you heard some breathing or shuffling around but mostly they were silent. In a strange turn of events, you can only download these files for Quicktime, though you can also stream them. My netbook isn’t very strong and a lot of times while streaming is available, I can’t do it, but I was able to stream this site, which was nice. Partially because of the lack of organization, I have no idea how many videos or photo galleries are available at YouLoveJack.com. I can tell that there are a lot, but that’s about it. I think it’s a safe bet to say that the amount of photo galleries is equal to the amount of videos you see, and the videos all seem to be between 15 and 20 minutes each. All of the content is also exclusive to YouLoveJack.com, which brings me to the thing that bothers me a little about this one. -

But before I tell you that, I have more good stuff to bring you: the guys are hot. This is mostly another twink site, but this is a good crop of twinks. These guys are on the younger side (I watched a college hockey player jerk off), and they’re skinnier and not hairy, and that’s about it. If you’re into bigger men or a variety of men, you’re not going to find that here. It’s also hard to figure out how enthusiastic the guys were into the action without any sound. Usually I use moaning as a basis but I couldn’t because there wasn’t any. Most of these videos appear to be solos, though there ARE videos available of the guys fucking each other. Sadly, these are silent, too. I can say that I didn’t see much of anything I haven’t seen before, though one of the guys I watched was more flexible than a Russian gymnast. -

There actually appeared to be more communication about the bonus material than about the normal content. I couldn’t, for example, find any information about frequency of site updates, but I had a long list of updates for the bonus sites available. -

My big complaint about YouLoveJack.com is that it advertises itself as amateur porn made by amateurs, but the lighting is too good, the camera work is too good, everything is just too good for amateurs. I’m a believer by nature so I’m still going to believe that these are amateurs spanking it for the first time on camera if that’s what the site wants me to believe, but unless I’m watching Mansluts in Space, I don’t want to suspend my disbelief to watch porn. I'm on the fence with YouLoveJack.com. The porn is pretty decent, but it’s not ready to run with the big dogs. -
