- First Impression
You know what I like about a web site called Man Avenue? I know I’m going to be seeing men on it, and not boys. I’m talking hairy chests, muscles, and more hair chests. There’s no tour for ManAvenue.com, just the ability to see the layout and get a taste of the ManAvenue.com experience. I’m assuming that this is because real men don’t need a tour. As far as first impressions go, I’m really enjoying this site. There’s not so much going on that it’s overwhelming, but you’re still getting a lot of great visuals before you even log on. - Navigation
ManAvenue.com is organized fairly simply. The home page has the latest update sprawled out and ready for action. Links along the side to click on, some fun and some business. There are links along the top to click on as well, all fun. There’s also no search mechanism, which is a huge bummer. The most important link is going to be the galleries link. This brings you to your choices of beefy, burly models to drool over. From there you can look at photo and video galleries featuring him. I don’t know why, but in my head when I first came to this site I saw a mecca of hot men for me to enjoy. As I move through the links, however, I’m starting to worry that this might be more like a dead end. -

The pictures are hot, but I’m going to talk about that later. They’re also well-done. The lighting is good, the poses are great and you’ll have fun moving through these photos of manly men. Unfortunately, it takes some work to look through all of the pictures. There’s no slideshow option; clicking on a photo in the gallery will open up a new tab or window with the picture in it. When you’re ready to move on you have to go back to the gallery and open up a new picture. Additionally, if you want to save pictures, you have to save each one individually because there’s no zip file option. I’d guess that they’re available in medium res – I was able to make them bigger, but not much. There’s a joke in there, but I’ll let you have it. The videos are available to download full length for iPod and for Windows Media Player, and you can also download a preview if you want to see what you’re getting before you spend half an hour or longer downloading something. I tried to stream the videos, but it didn’t seem to be an option. The camera work is sometimes shaky but most of the time it’s good and the lighting is very good as well. The videos aren’t high definition but the quality is just fine, not too much blurriness, though there were a few times where the image seemed pixilated. The content is all exclusive to ManAvenue.com, and the site updates approximately weekly, though it didn’t seem like the day was always the same. -
- Guys and Sex
The good news? The guys are hot! Twinks seem to be all over the place when you’re looking for good porn on the internet, but they aren’t in this little corner of the web, and I’m loving it. Of course, if you’re not into manly men you’re probably not going to be as into this one as I was, but if you like your men beefy and able to break someone’s nose with his fist, then you’ll be spending hours at this site. There’s not a whole lot of variety here, however, and when you have a high volume of masturbation videos, as this site does, it may start to feel a little old. I don’t know this as a definite thing, it’s just an assumption. And I know what happens when I assume. The videos do seem to be a majority of masturbation, but the site touts itself as having lots of straight men in front of a camera, so that’s a good explanation why. The sex that is there is hot with the guys enthusiastically fucking each other with the vim and vigor I want to see in sex I’m watching (and participating in). You’re not going to see anything here that you haven’t seen before, but what you will see here will be fucking scorching. -

Membership gets you access to all of that exclusive content, plus video blogs from some of the models on the site, which I haven’t seen elsewhere. There’s also a Twitter account connected to ManAvenue.com, though you don’t have to purchase a membership to get access to it. As far as content you get with membership, that’s pretty much it. There is a list of favorite links to check out as well. You won’t get access to the other sites with your membership, but if you’re new to this particular neighborhood of the internet, Man Avenue will at least be your venue to find other places to poke around. This is actually the most interesting part of the site, because this is where I found categorization and some semblance of organization. I guess that’s necessary in a city directory. -
- Overall Impression
I’m of a mixed mind when it comes to this site. There aren’t a lot of ways to download videos, and there’s no search mechanism, but the videos are awesome and the men are scorching. If you’re an amateur watcher and you’re not looking for a whole lot more out of a site than hot men and hot action, then I say go for it. If you’re looking for a fully loaded service, ManAvenue.com probably isn’t for you. -

Much like many other parts of America, this street doesn’t have a lot to offer, but what it does have is awesome. This one’s entirely up to you. -
