First Impression

The first think I have to tell myself about Club Hunter Wylde is to not cast automatic judgments on the fact that he's got that young, smooth, school boy look.  It's not fair to him to automatically say "nope!" just because I don't like it.  So, I'll get off my laurels and try to be unbiased. That being said, if the young, smooth schoolboy look is your thing? Huntwe Wylde might just drive you wild because he is a twink lover's dream.

So it is with a total lack of bias that I say I don't really like the site design.  It's simple enough, but there's nothing about pastel blues and greens that scream "Hot hot sex is right here!" to me.  Luckily, once I log in, I see that Club Hunter Wylde is a member of the Male Unit Network, and logging into any of their sites just takes them to the central network hub.  Now, the weird blue and green pretty much just disappears, much to my delight.  In its place is a standard online video site layout, similar to YouTube or Google Videos.  Because of this, navigation is fairly familiar and easy.

Something that YouTube doesn't necessarily offer is the way in which the videos can be sorted and categorized.  First of all, the view can be toggled back and forth between thumbnail view or full video descriptions, it just depends on how many videos you want to see on each page.  Then, the categories:  yes, the majority of the guys here are of the skinny smooth persuasion, but are you just wanting to watch Hunter Wylde jackoff?  Or do you want to see some anal action?  A blowjob?  You get to choose between all those kinds of categories.  Finally, once you choose your categorical layout, you can choose how those videos are sorted:  newest?  Most popular?  Most rated?  I personally would check out most favorites.  If 60 other people have it favorites, chances are it's going to be good.  With this Pornographic Sorting Hat, Club Hunter Wylde (by way of the Male Unit Network) is the Hogwarts of the porn community.

When watching those videos, you've got a few basic options to choose from.  Of course, you can stream the videos online or you can download them.  If you choose to down load them, you've got two options:  Quicktime or Mobile.  Both come in lo or hi def.  This is where Club Hunter Wylde falters.  However, there is some saving grace to the streaming option:  a go-to scene command, of sorts.  Each videos page offers thumbnails of moments within the movie and allows viewers to go directly to the moment.  It's pretty awesome in that if you want to skip the missionary position and go right to reverse cowboy because that's what really gets you off, you can have at it and not have to waste your time searching for that moment.  The pictures, of which there is original content, are pretty superfluous and all have an average user rating.  Perhaps this is because there is no slide show or bulk download option.

So I promised I would be biased and objective when rating the content and I'm doing my best to keep that promise.  You'll probably second-guess that objectivity when I say I don't really care for Hunter Wylde.  However, many of the other boys who show up in the videos with him really know how to get it done.  I will say though, for Hunter Wylde, that he does know how to fuck.  More often than not, when I'm able to forget that it's him and focus solely on the sex, it's pretty hot.  Viewers seem to agree, as most of the videos are rated with at least 3.5 out of 5 stars.  I prefer Hunter when he's bottoming for other guys; as a top, I don't find him that convincing.  Therein lies the problem when a paysite backs one specific performer.  If people don't like him, your membership suffers.
