- First Impression
I really think that Dink Flamingo is God's gift to porn (because, y'know, God cares so much about porn). I mean, really. I've reviewed a couple of his websites before and every time I go in expecting to trash the place and I walk out feeling like I've been converted. The same thing happened with DirtyBirdPictures.com. At first glance, I wasn't expecting to like it because let's be honest: the concept of some of Dink Flamingo's websites are a little sketch. But once I logged in and started to look around, I realized that Dirty Bird Pictures holds up to the same high standard that the rest of Dink's sites hold. - Navigation
Dirty Bird Pictures is the website for Dirty Bird Pictures, so what you're finding at the site are all the movies that Dirty Bird Pictures has made right there online without having to buy the physical DVDs to watch. Perhaps because the site is owned by the actual production company, the site design is vibrant, well-designed and easy to navigate. The home page features a navigation link to all of the movies, to the models that appear under Dirty Bird's name, to the store to purchase DVDs and other merchandise, to videos on demand and to the blog. It's all just laid out, right there. The main picture on the home page rotates, giving picture previews of several of the movies found on the site. Whoever picked out the picture previews did a great job, because I want to watch every movie they're advertising. -

Attempting to watch those movies is a little frustrating, though. Every movie offers a scene description, a trailer (helpful for determining if you want to watch the entire movie), an option to buy the DVD, photo galleries, downloadable clips and streaming scenes. It seems pretty great. Attempting to download or stream the movies got really frustrating for me, though. To stream the movies, users will need to download Microsoft Silverlight. I attempted multiple times and could never get it to work. Even worse, I couldn't seem to navigate the movie pages using Safari on my Mac. The page would stall or my browser would freeze. I ended up needing to use Internet Explorer on my old PC. Using Silverlight isn't a bad thing by any means, but it was frustrating trying to find a way to make it work. The galleries offer great screencaps of the videos, but there's no bulk download option or a slide show option. It's best to stick to the videos, despite all the work you might have to go through. -

But to be fair, the work was worth it, because motherfuck, these movies are hot. A lot of the movies have Brett Corrigan in them, which is one of the guys with the smooth schoolboy look that I find hot as fuck. Homeboy knows how to get it done. Apparently, he knows how to direct as well, as many of the movies were directed by him. He's got a good idea for detail and knows how to make porn hot, even when he's not in it. The rest of the videos are equally as hot. There's a wide selection of body types, ranging from the smooth to the hairy, from the schoolboy to the bear-y. Once I got the snafu with streaming and downloading figured out, I watched more movies than I usually do and maybe took some matters into my own hands, something I rarely do while reviewing. So…thumbs up, Dirty Bird Pictures. Thumbs way up. -

Bonus value is somewhat limited. There's a Models tab that helps you learn more about models and see who's in what. There's a store to purchase DVDs and other merchandise as well as a blog, which is pretty superfluous. The best part is that members get access to three other Dink Flamingo websites, including Active Duty, which is pretty hot. -
- Bottom Line
DirtyBirdPictures.com could be a stellar site and it's on its way to being there. I think the site would do well to create more or better streaming and downloading options. Additionally, content is currently pretty minimal, but will hopefully increase as DBP continues to make movies. For now, though, it'll get you off. It'll really get you off. -
