First Impression

Unfortunately, the first thing I do when I get to the guests' homepage for Blacks On Boys is laugh.  I mean, the site design is pretty good--damn near perfect, actually, for the genre.  Against a gray brick backdrop are various tableaus of black guys typing skinny little white boys, accented with reds and yellows.  Somehow it works and that's fantastic.  However, there's an animated picture of a black guy whose hand is poking in and out of a white boy's ass.  Not animated in the sense that it's drawn.  Animated in the sense that it's an actual camera picture and the hand is just moving back and forth.  It's a little distracting and entirely unnecessary.  So hurry up, let's log in!  Except even in my hurry, it still takes forever to log in, because the member's link for entrance is, like, hidden at the bottom of the page.  Let's get that a little more noticeable, shall we?

Navigation

Upon log in, much of the site design goes away.  There's a decent banner that stays up at the top, but everything turns into black with gold writing.  It's like if Maya the Bee decided to do gay interracial porn.  The layout of the site is kind of clunky.  For the most part it's easily navigable but at the same time it's jumbled and a bit confusing.  All of the video updates are actually right there on the home page, with number navigations to go to subsequent pages.  It's nice to have the content, like, BOOM right in your face, but at the same time it's a little sloppy.  Something that is nice is to have a site jump right on the home page as well.  Blacks On Boys is a member of the Dog Fart Network (which, what?) and access to Blacks On Boys gets you access to the rest of the sites (more on this later).

Content

Even though the videos are all located right there on the home page, there still is variation as to how they're viewed.  Members can sort by the traditional categories, newest scene or highest rated.  What's awesome at Blacks On Boys is that there are two other ways to sort the videos:  by "My Rating" and by "Scenes I Haven't Rated Yet".  Also, each video has the option to save as favorites.  Thus, it's easy to find what you really like or find things you haven't watched yet.  It's pretty cool.  Something else that's actually really nice about the videos is that everything loads from the page it's on.  That is, if you want to stream or download the video, you don't have to go to that video's page.  It's all just right there.  I find this great as I know at a glance what I'm getting into.  As such, I immediately know that all of the movies can be streamed in hi def, in either big or medium nitrate.  Further more, there are lots of downloading options.  Granted, while the videos can only be downloaded in WMV files, the entire movie can be downloaded in medium or hi def.  As the movies are a little long (like, in the 30+ minute range), there are also options to download "parts" of the movie, in case there's one 6-minute segment you specifically want.  Each video also has screen caps which do open in a new page, and then when you view the pictures each picture opens in a new page as well.  There's no slideshow option for the pictures, but there is the option to download them bulk in a zip file.

Guys and Sex

The quality of the videos is pretty good.  Of course, not every video is a seller, but more often than not, the videos are boner-inducing (even for someone like me, who's more attracted to Latin  and East Indian guys as opposed to black guys).  It seems that the bulk of the video is directed more toward "can that skinny white boy take that big black dick?" and that's hot, to be sure.  In this manner, the black guys sell.  The white boys, however, don't always sell.  Their attractiveness is hit or miss and sometimes the boys look so painfully young that I honestly feel a little awkward watching them fuck.  However, when they get a bottom who is a) attractive and b) into it, it's like magic.  Additionally, while I usually tell people to stick to the top rated videos (because they're voted on by actual members), this is one site where I can say that some of the middle or lower rated ones are also really hot, occasionally more hot than the higher rated ones.

Value

As I mentioned, Blacks On Boys is a part of the Dog Fart Network (which, really? Seriously?) and this gets members access to all of the sites that belong to DFN.  However, many of the 20 sites are straight pay sites.  This isn't necessarily bad, per se.  This just allows DFN to diversify their member pool.  In fact, some of the porn at the straight sites is pretty hot, too (occasionally, yes, I like straight porn).  This also means that many of the other extras--model index, live cam, DVD store--also includes a bulk of straight content.  If all your looking for is gay stuff, you'll find it here, but you'll have to wade through a little bit.

Bottom Line

BlacksOnBoys is a good genre site.  There's a power play thing going on here, if you buy into stereotypes.  But sometimes those stereotypes are true and in the case of Blacks On Boys, that stereotype is pretty hot.  Get your membership and enjoy.
