- First Impression
I have to say that I love some chocolate lovin', but it is really hard to find a great all black site that really showcases the boys in an awesome light. Unfortunately, despite being loaded with content and part of a pretty successful network, HarlemBoyz.com hits all of the pit falls associated with amateur sites, and even though most of the men are hot, the site itself is kinda a mess. The videos all look like they were shot with an instamatic camera in 1977 and the site is a little confusing and hard to navigate. I wish it were better and the sex could make up for the short comings, but this ill conceived offering doesn’t do much in the way of making a quality all black site. - Navigation
When you first log on you will see some poorly lit thumbnails of a few of the most recently added scenes, a scroll bar that allows you to search the site by videos, photos, or key words, a network update schedule, top rated photos section, top rated videos section, most viewed photos and videos section, coming soon sections, live chats ads, newest videos section, and photo updates. Sounds like too much for one page? Well it is. It is a little overwhelming at first and just trying to get your bearings about what you want to check out can be a convoluted experience which is never good when all you want to do is see some hot boys fucking and then log off. Simple is always better and this home page ain’t simple. Once you find the scene you want to see more of, click the thumbnail where you are taken to the scene page and have the option of streaming or downloading. You can rate the video, save to your favorites, and see some less than stellar screen grabs from the scene itself. No, the site isn’t complicated at all, but it just has too much stuff and a simpler layout would certainly have been more effective. -

The site has only been around for about a year and a half and they have already amassed a pretty impressive amount of material with over 120 videos and about 20 photo galleries. The site updates about once a week and new bucks are added to the model roaster. The picture galleries aren’t that bad and are pretty well shot and well lit. The videos are not as good. The music piped in over the sex is laugh out loud funny because it sounds like some old school Casio keyboard from 1983 that would make Axel Foley jealous (look it up if you don’t get this reference) combined with girls moaning. Yep, I just said combined with girls moaning even though this is an all male site. Confused? I was. I think the videos were ripped from old movies, but if they are new then I feel sorry for the camera dude who had to lug around a TV monitor to get this badly executed quality. The sex takes place in a variety of locations which is nice and the men try to put on a good show, but there is really no excuse for this piss poor quality in 2011. Maybe if the site had been billed as "Retro all black action" I would have been a little less critical, but it wasn’t so I say they need to update. The clips aren’t edited very well and the camera operator doesn’t even focus in on all of the good stuff. HarlemBoyz.com is a huge disappointment in the quality department. -

Some of the men on this site are super fine and have amazing sex, giving each other incredible blow jobs, rim jobs and a hot ass fucking. Others are acceptable in the looks department, but they all seem to really want to put on a great show so it is a shame that the quality of the production is so bad. The boys come in all shapes and sizes and really seem to be enjoying their work, and it is definitely nice to see a site devoted solely to African American gay sex. It would just be nice if it were better presented. I will also say that the hot guys and photos splashed across the opening page should come with a warning that states, "These hotties are not typical of what you will find inside." -

The site is $29.95 a month, which isn’t bad if you like a lot of content and don’t really care about quality. The network is filled with material and updates almost on a daily basis. With membership you get access to a number of much better sites and will be pleased by some that you will find. Unfortunately, HarlemBoyz.com is probably the worst in the network. -
- Overall Impression
The more I watched, the more pissed I got that someone thought they could just throw some old ass, poorly shot videos on a web page that was shabbily constructed and call it Harlem Boyz and people would flock to it. Take some pride in your work dude. I mean I know it is just porn, but there are plenty of great Black sites out there that present hot men and hot sex. If you sign up for the network you will have a lot of material so I can’t say that it is all bad, but this site doesn’t cut it as a stand alone. -
- Bottom Line
This is a poorly conceived all black site that doesn’t do a good job at showcasing the hot men or the good sex. There is a lot of content, but quality is certainly not an important factor to the site creators. -
