- First Impression
There’s nothing new or unique about ass-rimming, nor is there any reason to say “ass” in front of the term. We all know what the act consists of, and most of us also know that porn sites are throwing it in our face these days. I didn’t watch a lot of porn until a few years ago, but it seems as if all sites are catching on to the pleasure of watching men lick each other’s behinds. Whether or not you enjoy rimming in real life (giving or receiving), it’s a pretty hot act to watch in porn clips. This site is selling itself on the concept, which would be great except for the fact that it’s pretty much standard as is. Ass Rimming Roomies is really a bunch of amateur young guys sucking, fucking, and rimming. Pretty much like all the porn out there. The only reason for the title is that they’ve run out of other ideas, and it’s a catchy name. Amateur sites are a big turn-on for a lot of people, so this may be right up your alley. But don’t expect to find any marathon rimming sessions once you log on. - Navigation
The site doesn’t look like anything special, but the organization is excellent. When you log on, you find the basics: newest clips, most popular, etc. On the left-hand side of the page are the extras: bonus sites, live cam shows, photos (including pictures unrelated to Ass Rimming Roomies), the store, and an adult hook-up site. Once you find the video you’re interested in, it’s easy to check out the photos, to download, or to stream. This is a no-nonsense site, one that doesn’t bombard you with too many ads or try to excite you with clever graphics. The guys are the attraction. -

The photo sets are incredibly extensive, and can be viewed in a slideshow. Since the videos are amateur in nature, don’t expect to see Men’s Health quality when checking these guys out. You can use them as wallpaper, and you can also sort through them as a guide to decide if the video is worth downloading. The videos, as mentioned, are directed by amateurs, and the camera is shaky. The sets are rather drab and the lighting is kind of flat. There’s no music or set-ups (which is kind of a relief); the men just go after each other once the clips start. Streaming works like a charm, and you can download in Quicktime or iPod. They also offer different speeds. Most of the clips run around 20 minutes long, and that’s plenty of time. The material is exclusive to Ass Rimming Roomies, but it’s very limited. There were only 20 videos available when I reviewed the site, and they seem to update in lumps—about five in one day. -

The guys on this site are all very young, and all amateurs. I checked all the models out, and not one of them would qualify as muscle jock. For the most part, they’re kind of flabby, very pale, with natural hair (except around the cock). A few of them have bad acne, and some are so skinny they’re past twink and heading into “manorexia” territory. If that turns you on, check it out. Don’t expect to see daddies or bears. Tattoos have also pretty much escaped these guys. When they have sex, sometimes they look really into it. There were a couple of men who could have passed as boyfriends. This site is somewhat of a disappointment when it comes to quality and quantity. While the organization and navigation is great, there are hardly any videos to choose from. The other major problem with Ass Rimming Roomies is that, when you go to the bonus sites, the first ones that pop up are straight. When you go to the Network Links page, same thing. There’s an adult-hookup site that you can join, and when I logged onto that page….women wanted to meet me. Either the creators of Ass Rimming Roomies are trying to pull people in by making it seem like they’re getting a lot of gay extras (which they are not), or they haven’t figured out the glitches yet. Regardless, it makes almost all of the extras a waste of time and money. The live cam shows feature men, but those are pretty much a staple of most sites these days. -

Ass Rimming Roomies is a poorly conceived site that doesn’t have a lot to offer. While the men do rim, there’s nothing particularly different or exciting about the way they go about it. All the men are amateurs, which is fine, but there’s not very many models (yet), and not many clips to choose from. Most of the men don’t look like they’ve ever seen the inside of a gym—or a good skin conditioner. If that look turns you on, great, but you still need to know how limited the site is, and what a disappointment most of the extras are. -
