- First Impression
I am going to preface this review with this: I love bears. Well, I love hot, muscle-y, masculine bears that look like they could knock me down (in a safe, willing way) and just have their big, beefy way with me. Tattoos and hair are a plus. What is it about bears? I really don’t know. Perhaps I just didn’t get enough love as a child. Perhaps my formative years were missing a strong, masculine influence and I’ll spend the rest of my years looking for that father figure I never got. Or perhaps it’s just this: bears are fucking hot. So naturally, when I typed “ButchDixon.com” into my address bar and was greeted by the phrase “Naked hairy men & gay bears” with an accompanying cartoon that looks like a Tom of Finland drawing on steroids, the time in my pants was suddenly 12:00, if you catch my drift. - Navigation
From an aesthetic standpoint, the website is visually appealing at first. With a simple dark background, and vibrantly subdued accent colors, all focus is placed on the models and the movies in which they’re portrayed—until members log in. From there, that aesthetic kind of disappears. However, the focus is still on the models and their videos. -

The videos are well shot, the frames well-thought out. For example, in one video, the videographer even includes in the description that he made sure to film over one of the models’ shoulders, in order to be able to see his cock as well as hairy chest and abs. Details like these are what really sell porn videos, and Butch Dixon capitalizes on that. Each video can be viewed in a variety of different formats, yet the formats still seem somewhat limited: viewers have their option of Windows Media Player (with videos available in full download, part 1 download or part 2 download), Real Media and Quicktime. With Quicktime is where viewers are limited, as those downloads are formatted specifically for iPhones (though, kudos to Butch Dixon for creating a porn format for new technology). Besides straight-up hardcore sex videos, the site also offers solo videos of its models, and bonus videos (which are not actually productions of ButchDixon.com). -

The models are hot. A simple sentence, but there’s nothing more that can really be said about them. If you’re looking for the visual definition of a bear, check no further than Butch Dixon and all of the models it features (specifically Logan McCree; if you watch no other video than the one in which he’s feature, you’ll still get the full price of admission).
