Watching porn with a partner?

There’s a couple of things I won’t do with lovers, but a biggie is watch porn. Someone just told me that makes me a prude, but if I’m with a guy, I want him paying attention to me. I’ve had a few boyfriends, and in all honesty, none of them have ever asked or suggested the idea. However, I’ve gone out on a couple of dates and have had a couple of one-night-stands where the guys either put porn on automatically, or, if at my home, asked if I had any. One guy got almost belligerent when I told him I didn’t—he was also stoned out of his mind and couldn’t get an erection.
When I’ve picked up guys, I don’t get freaked out if they want to watch porn. I’m not thrilled about it, but I figure it’s their thing; besides, I don’t plan on seeing them again. It’s harder if it’s someone I’ve been dating, because I like the person and I don’t want to think they’re not really into me. The response I’ve heard in the past is that the guys need it to get aroused, in the say way some guys need poppers or booze. I accept that; I just don’t like it very much.
How do other guys feel about this? Do you like to watch porn when you’re having sex with your boyfriends, or if you’re on a date? If so, do you find yourself fantasizing about the men on film while you’re doing it? I’m curious to know how much of it does get you in the mood and how much of it makes you feel like your jacking off, but with a partner.
I love porn, but I love to watch it alone. I don’t even like to watch it if friends are over, cause the thought of my buddies getting hard-ons doesn’t thrill me. (If I was trying to seduce a guy, well then I’d consider it.) As for a boyfriend, so far it’s never happened, and I hope it doesn’t in the future.
